11 Jan Are You Working Against Your Dreams?
Last year a lot of you took action to create change and achieve some new goals in your life. You got the ball rolling in the right direction; change was happening. You could see that the steps you were taking were getting you what you wanted over time.
Then the holidays happened, movement slowed or halted, and frustration, overwhelm, and maybe even depression may have set in.
These emotions played starring roles in quite a few of my client sessions last week, and I heard questions like,
“Will I ever be able to … ?”
“Is this ever going to get resolved?”
Yes, you most likely will be able to.
And, this can be resolved.
AND, it will most likely happen little by little, just as it has been happening.
This is where your faith in yourself and The Universe comes in.
It’s much easier to have faith in yourself when you remember all you have achieved and accomplished so far.
So, right now:
– Please think about all positive steps you have taken so far.
– For what can you pat yourself on the back for a job well done?
– What did you do to create change last year?
Second, slow and steady wins the race. It generally takes longer than we expect for what we desire to manifest.
Adding a “little by little” to any affirmation can help take undue pressure off and help you be more patient with yourself and the Universe.
“Little by Little, I am getting more and more organized.”
“Little by Little, I am opening my heart to love.”
“Little by Little, I am losing weight.”
Doing a little bit each day to help you reach your goals is the easiest, least pressured way to approach them. And, is even a nice reminder, pat on the back of all you have been doing, which can give you the confidence to keep up the great work!
